ORDERING

1. Do I need to have a wholesale customer account before I can place an order via the B2B Portal?

Yes. You will need to register your company first before you will be able to place a wholesale order. After approval and registration you will receive an email with your personal log-in information. With this information you can log into the Vlisco B2B order portal. After log in you will be able to see the complete wholesale assortment and prices. We advise you to immediately change the given password for safety reasons.

2. How can I make an order in the B2B order portal?

Placing an order is simple. After approval and confirmation of your wholesale registration you will receive your personal log-in information. With this information you can log into the B2B order portal. After log in you will be able to see the complete wholesale assortment and prices. Click on SHOP in the main menu and select one of the submenu items. An overview will appear of the articles in the relevant product group. For more information on a specific article (larger picture with zoom, article description and price-always in Euros), please click on the product picture. On the page that opens next you have the option to add the article to your shopping cart. You can always click on the bag in the menu bar to go to your shopping cart. From there, you can finalize the order and confirm your order request. The requested articles are now reserved for you for 7 days and will be dispatched upon receipt of the total order amount within this period. Our standard payment method is bank transfer. The articles in your order are reserved for you for 7 days. Please note that if the total amount is not received on our bank account within 7 days the order will automatically be cancelled.

3. How can I get the total cost of my order?

In Step 1 (=Shopping Bag) of our easy Checkout process, you can already calculate the total cost of your order excluding shipping costs. If you go to the next step you can choose the relevant shipping method and then you will see the total price including shipping costs. Depending on the bill-to-address VAT will be included or excluded.

4. How can I follow the status of my order?

business.vlisco.com starts processing your order from the moment your payment has been received. Additionally, we will send you a separate email containing the invoice and shipping information as soon as your order is shipped.

5. Which countries do you service?

Vlisco aims to service all countries. However in support of our controlled distribution strategy and because of our organizations presence in Western and Central Africa not all countries are included on business.vlisco.com. If your country is not included in the list of countries to set a billing/shipping address or your wholesale account request has been you cannot order Vlisco fabrics via this B2B portal. In that case we advise you to contact our local Vlisco organization or local distribution partner(s), you can find the list here.

6. What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity per order for T2 customers is 300 yards.

7. Do you charge VAT?

business.vlisco.com charges no VAT (Value Added Tax) for CIP deliveries outside the Netherlands.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

1. How can I pay for my order?

To ensure transactions are safe, payment of your wholesale order is carried out via bank transfer. After completion of your order, you will receive the total amount along with our bank details. Finalize your transaction with the bank transfer. Please note that bank costs may be charged. These costs are at your expense. Your order will be dispatched upon receipt of the total order amount.

2. What refrence do I use for the bank transfer so Vlisco can track my payment?

To make sure we can easily track your incoming payment we advise you to mention your company name as a payment reference. It also helps if you send us a payment confirmation. A swift copy can be send to [email protected].

3. How many days do I have to fullfil the payment?

From the moment you have finalized your order in the Vlisco B2B order portal and have received a confirmation email from us with the order request you have 7 days left to meet the payment terms. The requested articles from your order are reserved for 7 days. If the total order amount (within bank costs) is not received on our bank account within these 7 days the order will automatically be cancelled.

 

DELIVERY

1. What is the standard delivery condition?

Our standard delivery condition is CIP* country/region of destination. This means Vlisco organizes the transport up to the (air)port. Vlisco is also insured for the transportation up to the (air)port of the country/region of destination. Clearance of the goods into the country/region of destination as well as transportation of the goods from the (air)port to the final delivery address is your responsibility.

Our standard shipping method is that we send the goods via air. The advantage of shipment via air is the short lead time. However, if orders really exceed a certain size our logistics team will explore if there are more cost saving possibilities such as shipment via sea. Of course we will inform you about this once relevant.

3. What are the alternative methods of shipping: 'transfer to my stock' and 'ex-works'?

The standard shipping method is sending your order via air according to the delivery condition CIP. However, also two other shipping methods are visible in the Checkout process: ‘transfer to my stock’ and ‘ex-works’. These two options are only available for selected T1 customers and are not available for T2 customers unless otherwise agreed.

4. What are the transportation costs?

The height of the transportation costs depends on several factors such as country of destination and order size. Transportation costs are automatically calculated and added in the B2B portal. These costs are visible at step 2 in the Checkout process. On this page you can immediately see the total order amount, shipping costs and VAT if applicable.

5. What are the delivery lead times?

When we have received your payment, we will send out your order as soon as possible. Our delivery partners aim to deliver your Vlisco order within 2 to 7 working days from invoice date. If your order has been handed out to the delivery service, you will receive a track & trace e-mail from Vlisco with for example the airway bill.

6. Can I arrange the transport myself?

It is not possible to arrange the transportation of the shipment yourself. Vlisco sends your order with trusted partners such as UPS, DHL and DPD. The shipment partner available to you may differ per destination address.

 

RETURNS – EXCHANGES – REFUNDS

1. Is it possible to cancel my order?

It is not possible to cancel your order once your order has been confirmed by Vlisco. Your order will be confirmed by us via email once we have received the payment. After that we immediately start picking and packing your order so therefore it is not possible to cancel your order once this process started.

2. How can I return my order?

Unfortunately it is not possible to return your order. However, in case the delivery is not according to agreement you have to inform us about this within 7 days after delivery. For example when the article is wrong or damaged, please send an e-mail containing the following information to [email protected]:
– Order number which refers to the article ordered
– A picture of the product clearly showing the label with bar code
– A picture of the damage

We always look forward to welcome our wholesale customers at our headquarters in Helmond, Netherlands. Please let us know in advance that you are coming so we can book an appointment with your account manager in the wholesale showroom. In this showroom you can see and feel the Vlisco fabrics we have in stock. You will also have the opportunity to place an order in this showroom. After receipt of payment via bank transfer we make sure the goods will be shipped to your delivery address.
