Laurence Ya Adonis-Koffi

Professor Laurence Ya Adonis-Koffi has been involved in the battle against renal failure in children for seven years and is the founding director of the first specialised unit in the French-speaking sub-Saharan part of Africa since 2009.

Laurence is a professor in paediatrics specialising in nephrology at the CHU (University Hospital) of Yopougon, and, last but not least, was Vlisco’s 2015 Brand Ambassador in Ivory Coast.

Founding member of the Francophone Paediatric Network (AFPNA) in 2015, she is currently Head of the Department of Medical Paediatrics at the University Hospital Centre (CHU) in Yopougon.
Combative, generous and driven by an unshakeable faith in what she does, she dreams of a world in which children are free of this illness.
