Euphrasie Kouassi Yao

Next to being the face of our brand in 2015, Euphrasie is the UNESCO Chairholder and Coordinator of the Compendium of Women’s Competences in Côte d’Ivoire. Amongst other things, she realized the project that involves female rural leaders in the management of improved village hydraulic pumps.

 

In recognition of her achievements, she won the Gold Medal at the Water Symposium in Cannes in 2004 and the Ivory Coast President’s Award of Excellence in 2013.

Holding a master’s degree in Gender and Development, Ms. Euphrasie Kouassi Yao is an international consultant in Gender and Development at the United Nations and was Minister of the Family, the Woman and Child Protection from 2015 until last year. Today, Euphrasie is the primary advisor to the president of Cote D’ Ivoire on the topic of Gender.
